Nichelle graduated as a chartered physiotherapist from Coventry university with a First Class Honours Degree in 2004.
She is a highly specialised and skilled musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and uses a wide variety of manual techniques to treat all types of condition. in her earlier days as a Physiotherapist she successfully treated rugby players from the Leicester Tigers Academy, LCFC Women’s Football players, actors and dancers from the Curve Theatre, and many other national sports players. More recently she enjoys treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal and neurological problems from ankles to necks using all her therapy skills in combination.
Nichelle offers Acupuncture treatments for various conditions such as, migraine, hay fever, rhinitis, fertility problems, menopausal symptoms, joint and muscular pain, osteoarthritis and much more. She also does cupping and is a fully qualified F.A.C.E (Facial Acupuncture for Cosmetic Enhancement) therapist. Nichelle is trained in both Pilates and Adapted Tai Chi.
She uses a very holistic approach to her physiotherapy treatments to enable a high level of treatment bringing her knowledge from all areas to treat her patients individually.
Nichelle regularly keeps up to date with evidence based research attending conferences and practical courses to continually develop her skills and enable her to provide an excellent up to date therapy service to all her patients.
Outside of the clinic she loves spending quality time with her two children and husband. She has a passion for singing and has a Bollywood Acoustic band in which she is the lead female singer.
Joanne graduated with a first class honours from Coventry University in 2004. Jo began her early career as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Leicester, including working at the LCFC academy. She then moved on to more specialist NHS roles in orthopaedic trauma and then rehabilitation in Derby and Nottingham.
She is now based in Leicester working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist at Oadby House. As well as a degree in Physiotherapy, Jo has a diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and is a fully trained Acupuncturist .
Joanne offers a wide range of hands on treatment based on the individuals needs.
Jo provided Physiotherapy at the London Marathon (2021) and The Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham treating various injuries for the Squah Players from various countries.
In her spare time she enjoys Keeping fit and active with her young family. She also enjoys doing voluntary work with local projects for all ages. Jo enjoys playing Cricket and is the captain of the Fleckney Womens Softball Cricket Team.
Alex qualified as a physiotherapist in 1992 from Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in Birmingham. She has been working within the NHS as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for over 30 years, in a variety of different locations including GP surgeries, local
businesses, an army barracks and in the hospital. This has enabled her to gain extensive knowledge and experience assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions. These primarily include acute injuries/trauma, chronic pain, rheumatology disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and also occupational health related issues. During her career in the NHS she has worked as clinical Low Back Pain Specialist, helping to provide a service for patients with persistent low back pain. This included assessing and treating complex patients, and running a Back Pain Management Programme. In the past she has also provided occupational health physiotherapy for a large
aviation and a flooring company. Alex's experience in these areas has helped her to manage and understand the need to look at the whole patient, their working environment and their lifestyle.
For the last 4 years, she has been working as an FCP (First Contact Physiotherapist) in GP Surgeries, which she decided to leave, to allow more time
for family and other pastimes.
For the last 15 years Alex has been a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and has been treating a wide variety of painful
conditions. She completed her Matwork training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) in 2017 and proceeded to set up a pilates class in her local village, and on zoom.
Out of work she is a keen gardener, both at home and on her allotment, where she enjoys growing her own produce. Alex enjoys being in nature, walking, kayaking, bird watching and looking after wildlife. During the winter months she often fosters underweight or injured hedgehogs.
Pauline graduated from Bath University in 1996, and worked at St Mary's Hospital, and St John & St Elizabeth's Hospital, before specialising in Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. After moving to Leicester Pauline worked at the LOROS Hospice running out-patient clinics and on the ward. Pauline is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and her special interest is scar management, Myofacial Release and treating cancer patients.
She is a qualified acupuncturist using it to treat pain, and the side effects of chronic illnesses, such as nausea and fatigue or breathlessness.
Pauline is also a Bowen Therapist which is a gentle treatment with deep effect on so many different problems caused by stress on the nervous system, connective tissues and fascia. She can also help with troublesome scars, even years after the injury, helping to resolve tethering through the tissues, which may be causing pain elsewhere in the body.
Outside of work Pauline enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, and keeping up with her CPD by regularly attending courses.
Megan graduated in 2021 with a degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation.
She treats patients with a number of conditions at the clinic including Back and Neck pain, Achilles’ tendonopathy, Plantar Fasciitis, Tennis and Glofers Elbow, Frozen Shoulder and much more.
She has a qualification in Level 3 Sports Massage, Rock Taping, Rock Pods and Rock Blades - These are a great tool to have alongside the massage techniques!
Megan is also qualified in Acupuncture for pain relief and trigger point needling.
Megan runs a weekly exercise class (Move it or Lose It) for patients that are struggling with balance and their general fitness. It’s an amazing low impact class to help build strength, balance and confidence.
She has recently carried out soft tissue work on the Burton Albion first team following their preseason training.
Outside of work, Meg enjoys walking her dogs, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
Rahul graduated from the University of Northampton in 2015.
As a Sports Therapist Rahul is responsible for managing his patient’s journey from initial injury to full recovery. He uses various hands on manual techniques to treat his patients as well as exercise rehabilitation to a high level.
He began his career working with AFC Rushden & Diamonds. He then went on to work at multiple events such as the London and Silverstone Marathons, and SBR triathlons. Rahul is currently studying for his diploma in Football Medicine, a course run by FIFA He also works with the Leicester City Hockey Club.
At the clinic Rahul sees our patients for Prehab and Rehab programmes. He is good at providing execrise plans and then progressing the plan as the patient improves.
He also offers home visits for those patients that are unable to come to the clinic due to mobility issues and offers exercises sessions to get these patients more mobile again.
Rahul is an avid sports enthusiast. He plays field hockey, golf and trains regularly at the gym. He follows many sports teams closely and enjoys travelling.
Amy qualified in 2007 and has worked in highly reputable Spas in the UK over many years. With a degree in Complementary therapies she offers a wide range of treatments at the clinic.
She thrives on making her clients feel better through deep tissue massage to improve their quality of life.
She is an amzing asset to our team and her bubbly charachter keeps us all entertained and positive at the clinic.
Outside of work she enjoys going for long walks with her dog and spending time with her beautiful daughter and husband .
Samantha qualified as a chartered physiotherapist from Keele University in 2001. While working in the NHS Sam specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics and trauma. Prior to moving up to Leicestershire she worked in Norfolk as a lead Physiotherapist managing and running physiotherapy clinics in various GP practices.
Sam also has a veterinary physiotherapy qualification from the Royal Veterinary College and is a Category A member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT). She now combines her qualifications, treating both human and animal patients.
Sam has been a member of the Oadby House Team since 2008. Her particular areas of interest are sports related injuries and orthopaedics.
Outside of work Sam enjoys living in the countryside with her husband and 4 dogs. Until recently she regularly competed her horse in dressage competitions. She is also a keen open water swimmer and enjoys cycling. Sam is a competitive sailor and regularly races with her husband in their Merlin Rocket Dinghy.
Aneela graduated in 2021 after a 5 year degree programme with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (Pakistan).
She treats all types of muscoloskelatal and neurological problems including Osteoarthritis, Frozen Shoulder, Bells Palsy, Tennis Elbow, Neck Pain, Sciatica and much more.
She uses a variety of techniques such as manual traction, soft tissue work, trigger point release, Mulligan techniques, electrotherapy, dry needling, cupping and exercise therapy. All of which when used together are excellent techniques for accelerating the recovery process.
Outside of work she enjoys painting, reading, photography and maintaining a personal blog!
Vicky is a Holistic Therapist and is a great asset to our team. She is trained in Swedish massage and many complementary therapies which include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Aromatherapy Facials and Hot Stone Massage.
She has a very keen interest in alternative / holistic therapies and how these therapies aid relaxation and homeostasis . She is deeply passionate about helping people feel better from the inside out.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and enjoys yoga and walking. She loves to walk in the Peak district amongst the beautiful scenery, breathing in the fresh crisp air.
Chet Graduated in 1997 with a degree in Computer Science. He is a Business Analyst and Manages the day to day runnings of the Oadby House Clinic. He is a valued member of our team.
In his spare time he loves spending time with his wife and 2 children and watching his favourite team Liverpool FC playing football!
Sandhia qualified in 2006 and has worked in practices both in London and Oxford. For the past 10 years she has been based in Leicestershire working at highly reputable clinics.
She believes in treating the patient as a whole, aiming to understand the problem, identify the source of the pain and discomfort and looks to give a long term treatment plan with individualised goals. Sandhia delivers a high level of Osteopathic techniques such as manipulations, stretches and soft tissue massage during her treatment sessions. Sandhia is also a trained APPI Pilates instructor and offers one-2-one Pilates classes.
Outside of work she enjoys going for long walks in the countryside and traveling around the world And spending time with her family
Alex qualified with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1999 and has worked in the NHS, private sector and in occupational health since, working exclusively in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for the last 20 years. She is a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist in manual therapies and is a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor.
Having experience in a range of clinical settings, her interest and passion now lies within Primary Care, and developing and delivering an effective musculoskeletal first contact assessment, diagnostic and management service.
Alex completed her FCP accreditation via the portfolio route and has since gone on to become a Health Education England accredited FCP Clinical Supervisor. She combines her clinical work with an FCP lead role in which she supervises and mentors an expanding team of FCPs based in the Midlands.
Alex is qualified and experienced independent non-medical prescriber and musculoskeletal injection therapist and has used these skills as part of her clinical practice for the last 10 years. She uses injection therapy to treat a wide range of conditions including arthritis of the knees, tennis elbow and frozen shoulder.
Outside of work Alex enjoys spending time outdoors, cycling and walking, and spending time with her family and friends.
